The Cool Roofing Rating Council is a non-profit organization that was created for evaluating and labeling the solar reflectance and thermal emittance (radiative properties) of roofing products and to disseminate this information to interested parties such as architects, government agencies, roofing contractors, and others involved in the roofing industry. The purpose of CRRC is to implement and communicate, support research, and provide education regarding the radiative energy performance of roofing materials. At the core of CRRC is their Product Rating Program. In this program roofing products that are tested under a strict program administered by the CRRC can be labeled with radiative property values set by CRRC. Acrymax has submitted their range of reflective roof coatings for testing and listing by CRRC.

Energy Star Partner logo ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. ENERGY STAR qualified roof products reflect more of the sun's rays than dark roofs. This can lower roof surface temperature by up to 100oF, decreasing the amount of heat transferred into a building. ENERGY STAR qualified roof products can help reduce the amount of air conditioning needed in buildings, and can reduce peak cooling demand by 10-15 percent. Acrymax AF-130 Roof Coating is a qualified Energy Star reflective roof coating. Acrymax is a Charter Partner in the Energy Star Roof Products Program.
