The Importance of Roof Inspections
|Your roof is under relentless attack from rain, snow, hail, sun, chemicals and a myriad of other forces that are all working against your roof and damaging your investment. Small roof problems if ignored soon become big leak problems that can cause serious damage to the roof, as well as the contents of the building. Proper inspections and a proactive approach to roof maintenance can add years to the life of a roof. At least two inspections of a roof should be done each year. Ideally, one inspection should be done in the spring to check for damage that may have occurred during the winter, while the other roof inspection should be done in the fall to make sure that the roof is in good condition for the coming winter. Inspections should also be done after any unusual occurrence may have affected the roof, such as a severe storm or construction activities on the roof.
Proper application of a specified roof system is critically important to successful roofing projects. Periodic inspections during the installation of the roof system can help assure you that proper procedures are followed and that the Acrymax roof system is applied according to specification.
For more in depth analysis of your roofing assets we recommend contacting a member of RCI - The Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing, & Building Envelope Professionals. If requested we can provide you with a list of RCI members that we have worked with and that have experience in the proper specification of our fluid applied roofing systems.

The Importance of Coating Inspections
It has been reported that 75% of all coating failures are attributable to deficient surface preparation and/or improper application of the coatings. Inspections to confirm proper preparation of the surface to receive the coating system as well inspections during application can help assure you that you get the maximum performance that the coating system can provide.
