AF-130 Elastomeric Roof Coating
The standard 100% acrylic elastomeric roof coating offered by Acrymax. AF-130 roof coating has excellent overall physical properties. Exhibits outstanding UV resistance and superior long term weatherability and durability. AF-130 roof coatings have been used successfully in all climates. Used as protective roof coating or as component of reinforced roof membrane systems.

An elastomeric roof coating designed for use as a basecoat. Formulated for maximum adhesion to asphalt, urethane foam, wood, metal, and most building materials. AF-130BC Roof Coating is available in standard concrete gray color. Also available in aluminum gray and other colors by special order. AF- 130BC provides a contrasting color for application of finish coats insuring complete coverage in multiple coat applications. Used as the tack coat and saturation coat for installation of reinforcement in fluid applied reinforced roof systems.

AF-130FR Elastomeric Fire-retardant Roof Coating
Elastomeric roof coating formulated with alumina trihydrate that provides fire retardant properties. Alumina trihydrate acts as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant because of its thermodynamic properties. When exposed to heat, it will absorb about 280 cal/gram before liberating water vapor. This endothermic dehydration cools the coating and dilutes with water those combustible gases that do escape. Component of FM approved fluid applied reinforced roof recovery system designated ARS-1FR.
AF-130MB Elastomeric Mod-Bit Roof Coating
AF-130MB is a high performance elastomeric acrylic roof coating formulated for use on modified bitumen and other asphaltic roof surfaces. Formulated to allow for coating of modified bitumen roofing without the need for primers or the necessity of allowing the modified asphalt roof membrane to weather prior to coating. Offers stain resistance and improved resistance to ponded water when used on asphalt roofs.
AF-130QS Elastomeric Quick-set Roof Coating
Elastomeric acrylic roof coating formulated to substantially reduce the application problems related to atmospheric moisture such as high humidity or heavy dew. AF-130QS elastomeric roof coating rapidly develops resistance to flow or disruption by water saturation. This property allows the applicator to extend his work day since there is less concern about weather changes that can occur in the late day or evening.
AF-130TPO Elastomeric Coating for TPO
AF-130TPO – A 100% acrylic elastomeric coating formulated for maximum adhesion to aged (four years or greater) TPO (Thermoplastic PolyOlefin) single-ply roof membranes. This product is typically used as a basecoat formulation to provide improved adhesion for other elastomeric coatings. Typically topcoated with AF-130, AF-130QS, or AF-130XT.
AF-130XT High Strength Elastomeric Roof Coating
High strength elastomeric acrylic roof coating formulation exhibiting improved physical properties including higher elongation and tensile strength as compared to standard roof coatings. Offers improved dirt pick-up resistance and added toughness to resist foot traffic. Acrymax AF-130XT elastomeric roof coatings are being specified where the very best 100% acrylic elastomeric roof membrane is required.
AF-132 Elastomeric Clear & Metallic Effect Coating
A waterborne acrylic resin solution that dries to a clear elastomeric film. It is used to seal fiberglass and plastic skylights. Outstanding weatherability and durability when applied to a properly prepared surface.
AF-132P Metallic Effect Coating
An elastomeric coating formulated with pearlescent “metallic effect” pigments to provide gold, copper, and other dramatic colors.
AF-135 Elastomeric Wall Coating
A high build decorative and protective elastomeric coating for masonry, concrete substrates, and stucco walls. Excellent elasticity, adhesion, weatherability and durability. Used to waterproof and beautify masonry, concrete, and synthetic stucco substrates.
AF-135TX Textured Elastomeric Wall Coating
A high build decorative and protective elastomeric coating for masonry, concrete substrates, and stucco walls. Contains aggregate to provide texture. Excellent elasticity, adhesion, weatherability and durability. Used to waterproof and beautify masonry, concrete, and synthetic stucco substrates.
AF-5500 Fluoropolymer Coating
A waterborne fluoropolymer roof coating that exhibits superior weatherability, excellent color retention, and excellent adhesion. AF-5500 can be used over Acrymax elastomeric roof coatings and elastomeric roof systems as a thin film finish coat for improved durability, color retention, and increased dirt pick-up resistance. It can also be used over approved substrates such as metal. Provides excellent adhesion to metal roofs with factory applied fluoropolymer finishes.
PRIMERS, SEALERS, AND MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTS
Acrymax offers primers, sealers, and other products for a variety of uses. High performance rust inhibitive primers, concrete sealers, water-repellants, epoxies, and other coatings and materials are offered in environmentally responsible waterborne formulations.
AF-100 Concrete & Masonry Sealer
An acrylic concrete and masonry sealer. Exhibiting good gloss, and good oil, gasoline, and water resistance. AF-100 is used to seal concrete surfaces such as warehouse or garage floors. Also used to prime, seal, and condition masonry or concrete surfaces prior to application of elastomeric coating systems.
AF-110 Concrete & Masonry Sealer
A clear masonry sealer – primer for cementitious substrates. Good exterior weatherability. Alkali resistant. Minimizes efflorescence and can improve adhesion of topcoats. Minimizes absorption of topcoat.
AF-127 Asphalt & Transite Sealer
An acrylic primer/sealer used for asphalt BUR and modified bitumen surfaces. Also useful on transite. Used after proper surface preparation to prime and seal chalky asphaltic surfaces prior to application of AF-130 series elastomeric roof coatings. Helps eliminate staining of elastomeric coatings by asphalt fractions. Component of FM approved fluid applied reinforced roof recovery system designated ARS-1FR.
AF-131 Brushable Caulk
A brushable flashing grade material especially useful for sealing the heads of fasteners on metal roofs. Also used to seal around roof penetrations, small cracks, and other areas where a high build brushable sealant is required.
AF-136 Patching Compound
A unique blend of acrylic elastomers, fiber, and perlite. Used to fill cracks in masonry and stucco walls and as a crack filler and leveling material in roofing applications.
AF-195 Floor & Deck Coating
An acrylic-urethane satin finish floor and deck coating formulated for maximum adhesion and good wear resistance. For interior or exterior use. Provides wear resistant surface for elastomeric deck systems.
AF-315 Fibrated Acrylic
A unique thixotropic mastic sealant formulated with Kevlar fibers. Excellent adhesion and flexibility. Apply by brush or trowel. Use for roof repairs. Can be combined with Poly-1 Reinforcement Fabric. Seal around roof penetrations.
AF-9000 Acrylic Modified Asphalt Emulsion
A clay stabilized asphalt roof emulsion that has been modified with acrylic polymers to create an emulsion with improved physical properties. When compared to standard unmodified asphalt roof emulsion coatings AF-9000 exhibits improved water resistance, weatherability, and flexibility.
EP-015 Waterbased Epoxy
EP-015 is a two component water based epoxy coating that exhibits excellent properties. It has superb chemical resistance and abrasion resistance. Recommended for priming or coating concrete. Clear coating is used for priming.
PC-125 Rust Inhibitive Primer
A rust inhibitive primer featuring direct to metal waterborne acrylic technology. Formulated with rust inhibitive pigments for long term corrosion protection.
PC-535 Elastomeric Rust Inhibitive Primer
PC-535 is an environmentally responsible DTM waterborne acrylic primer, containing corrosion inhibiting pigments. PC-535 provides long-term corrosion protection with service life equal to or exceeding conventional corrosion inhibiting coatings, with the added benefits of extreme low temperature flexibility and low VOCs.
PR-101 EPDM Rinse Primer
PR-101 is a low viscosity rinseable primer used to improve the adhesion of Acrymax AF-130 or AF-130BC roof coatings to EPDM single-ply rubber membranes. Cleans and prepares EPDM for coating application.
SR-5 Siloxane Water Repellant
A solution of siloxanes in water that is used as a water repellant on various substrates. Siloxane-based water repellants are highly effective. SR-5 meets the need for a waterborne high performance VOC compliant repellant.
SUN-1 Sunset – Coating Color Additive
A unique dye that is added to white elastomeric coatings that will turn the coating blue. This dye is photochemically reactive and “bleaches” out after a few days in the sun. The “blue” coating will absorb more solar energy and dry more quickly than white roof coatings. Especially helpful in spring and fall when optimum drying conditions may not exist.
REINFORCEMENT FABRICS
Stitch-bonded and spun-bonded reinforcement fabrics are available from Acrymax. Each offers high strength and are used to reinforce elastomeric coating and roofing systems. Poly-1 Stitch-bonded fabric is the most commonly used as it offers excellent conformability. Poly-5 Spun-bonded fabric is a “stiff” fabric that is used on smooth surfaces. Poly-6 self-stick reinforcement is used to repair roofs, seal seams, and for other types of repairs.
Poly-1 Stitch-bonded Fabric
A stitch bonded high strength polyester fabric used to reinforce Acrymax roof coatings. The loose knit structure of Poly-1 provides for excellent conformability and allows for easy use on irregular surfaces as well as on smooth surfaces. Used for flashing details, for metal roof seams, and other areas where reinforcement is required. Available in 4″, 6″, 12″, 18″, and 40″ widths.
Poly-5 Spun-bonded Fabric
A unique bicomponent fabric reinforcement combining polyester filaments with a nylon skin. These bicomponent fibers are then uniformly spunbonded and heat fused at cross-over points to create a high strength reinforcement with good elongation in all directions. Heat fusing eliminates bonding agents that can block the matrix and inhibit saturation of the fabric. Excellent fabric for plywood decks and other smooth surfaces. Available in 37″ width.
Poly-6 Self-Stick Fabric (Eternabond)
Stitch-bonded reinforcing fabric with non-curing adhesive backing for self stick application. Adhesive will not harden and provides tenacious adhesion. Adhesive backing is protected on the roll by a tough release liner to prevent contamination prior to use. Available in 4″, 6″, and 12″ widths. Length 50′.
