Acrymax includes a standard product warranty on all of our materials, and also offers warranties on our roof coatings, complete membrane system warranties, and warranty extensions. A summary of our warranties is below, while further details can be found on the Roof System Warranty and Roof Coating Material Warranty pages.
- Acrymax Standard Product Warranty: This warranty is applied to all Acrymax materials and states that Acrymax products meet the specifications set forth in the appropriate product data sheets, which can be accessed via our products page. Any materials that do not meet the minimum specifications stated, and are proven defective, will be replaced by Acrymax, or the cost will be refunded, as long as the claim is made within one year of the date of purchase.
- Acrymax Roof Coating Warranty: This limited material warranty states that an applied roof coating system will not leak water for a specified period of time as the result of normal weathering. The length of the warranty can vary depending on the type of roof surface coated and the specific coating and coating system used. If the roof coating system leaks, and it can be determined that the leak was caused by a defective product supplied by Acrymax, Acrymax will provide sufficient materials to repair the leak.
- Acrymax Roof Membrane System Warranty: These limited system warranties guarantee the Acrymax roof membrane system will not leak water for a period of 5, 10, or 15 years as a result of normal weathering or because of defects in the system’s application. The length of the warranty is dependent on the surface coated and roof specification used. If the roof membrane system leaks, and the cause was a defective product supplied by Acrymax or the workmanship of the approved applicator, Acrymax will repair any leaks. The membrane system must be applied by an applicator approved by Acrymax to qualify for an Acrymax System Warranty, and the applicator must provide at least a two-year labor warranty. Acrymax system warranties require payment of appropriate warranty fees (see Roof System Warranty page).
- Warranty Extensions: Acrymax warranties are renewable in five-year intervals at the end of the initial warranty, provided the surface meets the approval of an authorized Acrymax inspector and the entire area is recoated as necessary with additional Acrymax elastomeric coatings at a rate determined by the requirements of the project. Generally the application rate for recoat shall be 1 to 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet.
