Benefits of Approved Applicator

Approved Applicators Provide Important Benefits

Acrymax has been offering roofing systems and protective coating systems since 1951.

Our solutions include:

  • Fluid Applied Reinforced Membranes
  • Reflective Roof Coatings
  • Roof Maintenance Coatings
  • Protective Coatings – Steel Structures
  • Corrosion Control
  • Architectural Metal Coatings
  • Elastomeric Wall Coatings for Masonry and EIFS

We are committed to manufacturing and supplying the very best quality roofing systems and coating systems. However, the best quality coatings if applied improperly will not provide the expected performance. Since roof leaks and coating failures are typically the result of improper installation, the best solution is to have an experienced and trained applicator install the appropriately designed roofing or coating system.

To get the best performance from our coatings and fluid applied roof systems the smart thing to do is to use an Acrymax Approved Applicator.

Applicators that want to be approved by Acrymax must be committed to proper and  successful application of our products and must satisfy a number of requirements. They must provide us with references that demonstrate their capabilities, agree to any training requirements deemed necessary, provide proof of insurance, certify that they are properly licensed, and must provide credit references that demonstrate financial stability. They must also agree to provide a warranty to the building owner that covers their workmanship on their Acrymax installations for a minimum of two years after completion.

Acrymax Approved Applicators Are:

  • Professional Organizations
  • Experienced
  • Financially Stable
  • Dedicated to Customer Satisfaction
  • Committed to Training Their Workforce
  • Properly Licensed
  • Insured

WARRANTIES

Only applicators that are approved by Acrymax can offer warranties other than our Standard Product Warranty.

Acrymax Approved Applicators or Acrymax Professional Partners can offer our Systems Warranties. These limited warranties cover labor and materials required to repair an Acrymax roofing or coating system subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty. Visit our warranties page or contact us at 800-553-0523 for additional information.

Acrymax Material Warranties that cover materials only must also be applied by an applicator that meets project specific requirements that are set by Acrymax. An experienced applicator with demonstrated qualifications that meets these requirements may be approved for a specific project where the Acrymax coating or roofing system will be used.

A warranty request form must be submitted for any roofing or coating project where a warranty other than our Standard Product warranty is required. The project must be approved by Acrymax prior to starting application of the Acrymax coatings, coating system, or roof system. Contact Acrymax for specific warranty requirements.

CHOOSING A ROOFING OR COATING CONTRACTOR

No matter what contractor you choose you should make sure you do the following:

  1. Ask the contractor for proof of insurance
  2. Check to make sure contractor is properly licensed
  3. Check client references and a list of completed projects
  4. Insist on a detailed written proposal
  5. Request the name of the person who will be in charge of the project

Finally, make sure that you evaluate all bids. Low bids should be carefully scrutinized, and you should be very wary of those bids that are substantially lower than other bids you may receive. You should choose the roofing or painting contractor that you trust the most. Remember, price is only one of the criteria for selecting a roofing contractor or coating applicator. Professionalism, experience and quality workmanship should all be considered as part of the selection process.

It is the sole responsibility of the roofing contractor, painting contractor or other applicator to obtain proper insurance, comply with all licensing requirements, government regulations and safety precautions. Acrymax assumes no responsibility for any failure to do so.
