- Fully Reinforced Membrane Systems: Single-ply membranes like EPDM, Hypalon, and PVC, are best served by Acrymax’s fully reinforced ARS-1-SP or ARS-1-SP50XT roofing systems. These fluid-applied membranes integrate the existing roof membrane into a new, composite roof membrane that provides unmatched moisture and thermal protection, and energy efficiency. The ARS-1-SP reinforced elastomeric membrane system provides an average thickness of 45 mils, while the ARS-1-SP50XT provides an average thickness of 50 mils and utilizes our high-strength AF-130XT finish coats for exceptional performance.
- Partially Reinforced Membrane Systems: Existing single-ply membranes in need of maintenance and/or weatherproofing are well-served with one of Acrymax’s partially reinforced membrane systems. The ARS-2-SP20XT and ARS-2-SP30XT systems both include finish coats of Acrymax AF-130XT for added durability, protection, waterproofing, and energy efficiency. The ARS-2-SP20XT system averages 20 mils on the field of the roof and 45 mils in reinforced areas, while the ARS-2-SP30XT provides average thicknesses of 30 mils on the field and 50 mils in reinforced areas.
- Coating-Only Systems: If you’re looking for a cool roof reflective coating to provide energy efficiency, or a fresh look for architectural or aesthetic purposes, then an Acrymax fluid-applied elastomeric coating may be the answer for your single-ply roof. The ARS-3-SP15 roof coating system is designed for use on existing single-ply membranes such as EPDM and Hypalon and provides an average coating thickness of 15 mils.
