PA/NJ Sustainability Symposium brings together industry, education and community leaders

This event was held @ Temple University on Tuesday March, 12th. For more details, please click here.

The 3rd annual Symposium brought together leaders in the sustainability movement to share best practices, ask challenging questions and provide cutting edge information about sustainability in the Delaware Valley. With organizations like the Delaware Valley Green Building Council, the Energy Efficency Building HUB, the Energy Coordingating Agency, and countless others, Philadelphia and the greater Delaware Valley is truly a hot bed for these leaders.

Beyond the two great keynotes, I was able to attend 3 of the 24 educational sessions. The first focused on universities such as the host of the event, Temple University, and their push toward sustainability on a campus wide basis, while the second was highlighted by large owners of properties like real estate investment trusts. Lastly, I attended a session that discussed LEED v4 and the push towards net positive buildings.

This Symposium was both informative and interesting. I was delighted to be counted among the 800+ attendees of the event.
